By profession I am a Violinist with a very well known Symphony Orchestra. I’ve done this for many years and I’m very lucky that my work has taken me all around the Globe. This has afforded me amazing photographic opportunities. Photography has been a passion since the age of 13 when I had to play a concert in Switzerland and my Father decided I needed a camera to record and document my trip. I was instantly ‘hooked’. Soon after I graduated to an SLR and began amassing lenses. I gained a diploma in photography a couple of years later. I started using a computer and scanning my negatives just a few years ago and began my personal journey with the amazing Adobe programme, Photoshop that I can't praise highly enough. I went fully digital with the arrival of the EOS 10D. That same year I won the ‘happiness’ section of Practical Photography’s ‘Photographer of the Year’ with a shot showing swirling shoes which can be found in the ‘Abstract & misc’ section of the gallery.

I am regularly published in a variety of media including the photographic press, brochures, websites, press releases, magazines, newspapers, corporate newsletters, and CD covers.

I cover many subjects but specialise in Weddings & Portraits. I am very passionate about my photography and strive to achieve technical and artistic excellence, always working to the specific client brief.

I use CANON gear exclusively combining full frame and crop bodies with a full line up of L series professional lenses. Post production is carried out in Photoshop.

It’s a great privilege being part of the digital age, and a wonderful time to have an interest in Photography (when the day job allows!)
